Sorry to break the news to you *ahem* me hearty, but today is almost over. It's 8pm here. You have to start declaring these things the day before.....or travel through time. Whichever you can do better *ahem* me hearty.
Dora - I arrrpologise for not readin' yer comment earliarrrrrr! Aye, aye could draw one on, but I's be lookin' a tad stupid in tha' morning when the blasted thing won't be scrubbing off!
Dinah - Aye, those past times be good news for some, arr. Git yerself a parrot and a tricorner hat and go prod some people with yee cutlass! There be booty to seek!
Inexplicable Device - You be doin' that! I must say, thar was a distinct lack of piratey goodness in my office today; they were a bunch of arrrrrrrr-soles, you could say; I expect more from talk like a pirate day next yearrrrrrr, and you can be my first office-arrrrrrrr!
I forgot to tell you: Finished reading Burning Dreams. It was most enlightening. Margaret W B is skillfull in narrating Pike's life story and displaying his character. So much so that I now fancy him.
Bugger.
Think I'll do a tour of duty as a lieutenant aboard the Enterprise under (heh heh!) Captain Pike, before being promoted to commander and becoming your first office-Arrrrrrr! See you in 260 years!
Inexplicable Device - Hmmm, interesting... I might give it a whirl, after I've read William Shatner's latest blockbuster novel, of course!
If you serve under Pike (heh) you'll have to contend with smiling Spock though - and that might be a tad unnerving!!
Miss Haversham - Make up pirate day? Do I have to wear eyeliner like Cap'n Jack? I'm not sure... but I expect I could carry it off...
Missy and Chrissy - I like the idea of every day being talk like a pirate day, but it did make my voice a little hoarse, so we might have to think about a pirate rest day! There's only so much plunder to pillage, y'know...!
Dinah - Welcome to the future! Glad to hear you've unleashed your inner pirate. I'm now thinking about an Act like a Robot day; in fact, I might go out robot walking around London today. And say "working" quite a lot.
